Egypt to rise as Turkey’s major partner
Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD) President Ömer Cihad Vardan briefed reporters on the approaching International Business Forum (IBF) on Friday and said that their aim is to improve trade relations with Egypt, the host country.
He cited the aim of the IBF as to establish global cooperation among Muslim businessmen and improve trade relations between Islamic countries. Also talking about trade relations with the meeting’s host country, Vardan stated that their aim is to turn Egypt into one of Turkey’s major trading partners. Vardan said they expect the bilateral talks between businessmen from two countries to be concentrated on improving cooperation in the fields of food, energy and logistics.
